PWAN

PWAN turns Internet connections into true private circuits without the use of VPNs. We do this by building a dedicated private core network for each client. The whole network is protected by its own dedicated firewall which the client can customise to their specific requirements offering a single break-out point for Internet access for the network. Wide Area Network has never been so easy to configure, administer or secure.

Private Wide Area Networking provides businesses with a private network either across the country or around Europe. By giving each circuit with its own internal IP subnet, the network operates as a private network across all sites with absolute security and without the necessity of VPN tunnels.

Fluidata tailors the solution to meet each exacting requirement to ensure reliability, security and ease of use. Core equipment within the Fluidata datacentre is dedicated for each customer and the PWAN is protected by a centralised firewall providing completely secure Internet access for the whole client network and a single point of security management. This provides the customer with a single, manageable WAN which is easy to administer and support.

Additionally, because the client network operates over dedicated routers at each site and on the core network infrastructure, it is possible to enable QoS services for effective end-to-end traffic prioritisation.

Is PWAN Secure?

PWAN utilises Layer-2 interconnects Fluidata has with its carrier partners, therefore individual lines can run private IPs all the way through to a dedicated firewall in the data centre, making it absolutely secure.

Which line works?

PWAN has been designed to work with the whole product portfolio including DSL and Leased Line technologies. It can also connect into other European or global networks via Layer-2 or a VPN.

How long to install?

PWAN is built irrespective to the last mile connections and so can be deployed at the beginning or during a project. Average times depending on the complexity of the configuration would be between two to four weeks.
